July 24 USS KittyhawkeI was one of the lucky few to go onboard the USS Kittyhawke while it was in Brisbane... what an amazing ship! 5000 people live onboard, along with 90 Aircraft and a few billion dollars worth of infrastructure. We got a full tour of the ship upstairs and down, even got to sit in a few of the aircraft. Very cool.... Armed with my new camera I went snap happy and got heaps of really cool photos. I'll put the rest up on my other website. Have a look! It's really hard to explain how big this ship is....
Here's a few pics!!! May 01 SALES KING YEAH! I'm the king... selling cars left right and centre. I had a big breakthrough today when I sold my first NEW car. Feeling so much more confident today and loving my work. The only people I didn't like, have decided to leave... so our team is looking good. It's been hard to re-program my brain for sales, but I finally feel like I have a firm grip on the mentality you have to possess in this industry. Fast, confident and full of facts on cars!
Money is awesome... drive cars are unbelievable and I love coming to work every day.
PS. I wanna buy a Posche now :( Just gotta get that house purchased and I'm on my way!!! WOOOOOOOT!!!
PPS. I'm thinking of selling my bike... I'm scared I'll regret it though!!!! I JUST NEVER GET TO RIDE ANY MORE!!!!!!!
April 16 Bowling!!Me and my mates went bowling at Strike in the City on saturday.... it was so awesome. I won both games.... think I may have a career in bowling!? hahahah It was good to see all the gang in one place again.... it sure has been a while. It's the first bowling alley I've been to where you can drink! Such a good bonus... we got slaughtered... the walk home was certainly interesting.
I didn't have too late a night as I had to get up early for a ride on sunday. Ended up feeling prety seedy anyways, but just hung out with Becs mum for the day. Twas pretty cool :)
OMG... how good are Ipods!! My work gave me a 30gig video ipod for my going away pressie... so awesome. I boogied to tunes all day.... all that music on my laptop is finally paying off!!!
Here's some pics from the bowling party! March 20 HUMMERS FOR EVERYONE!!!It's not what you think... I haven't reduced myself to giving blowies on the street corner.... I GOT THE JOB AT BRISBANE PRESTIGE!!! Needless to say, my offer from Toyota was politely refused. They changed a few things in my contract that I wasn't happy with, so I looked elsewhere! Glad I did too... cos now I'm selling Mercedes, BMW's, SAABS, MASERATI's AND HUMMERS!!! The best part? I get to have one as my company car! WOOT! I'm so much happier selling cars that actually interest me... Toyota's range is pretty stale with not a sports car to be seen these days! Gotta say... I'm over the moon. I can start as soon monday, but I think I deserve a weeks holiday first. I'm planning on a week of shopping, exercising, going to the beach and doing PJ-things! Then next weekend I'm on Stradbroke Island all weekend for Nicks wedding. Should be a very relaxing end to my time at TMS, and a calming introduction into my new job. I Can't freaking wait!

PJ 5/10/06 May 30 My New bike!I recently purchased a new Crotch-rocket... it's a CBR929RR Fireblade! Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to old yella... he'll hopefully go to a good home
 My newie is so freaking awesome. It's been ages since I've had a 4 cylinder bike and jeez it's good to be back on one! It's so smooth and quiet. Not to mention UNBELIEVABLY FAST! Tested to 230kph so far... At full pull, you can hardly comprehend whats going on... I chose to get soemthing a little different too. It's a Limited Edition Erion Racing replica. Only 195 were bought into Australia, so hopefully it won't blend in too much! SOOOOOO TUFF!!!
I got a new helmet too... check the pics of it so you recognise me waving at you in traffic!

March 29 Pocket Bikes are cool!After seeing these crazy things on the internet, I decided to purchase one! $214 dollars later it arrives in a big box all ready to race! I can't begin to tell you how much fun these freakin things are.... they have a top speed of about 55-60km/h. Cos you're soooo low to the ground, this feels like about 200km/h!! I am now encouraging all my friends to purchase one so we can race the little buggers. GO ON! DO IT YA PUSSIES!! |
